As the winter travel season approaches, we want to help you navigate your journey through Reagan National and Dulles International Airports with ease. Whether you’ re heading home for the holidays, escaping to the beach, or traveling for business, these helpful tips will prepare you for a smooth and stress-free experience.
• Reserve parking on the Reagan National or Dulles International website well in advance to guarantee a space. Customers with reservations can park even if the garage or lot signs display‘ full.’
• Use Metrorail at either airport to avoid roadway congestion near the terminals.
• Follow signs to Kiss and Fly at Reagan National to drop off passengers for easy access to the terminal. Use the Dulles International
Kiss and Fly, located at the Metro station, which is a short, underground walk to the terminal.
• Use the Cell Phone Lot at Dulles Airport as a waiting area for arriving passengers.
• Passengers are encouraged to use wayfinding apps such as Google Maps and Waze when driving to the terminals or parking garages to avoid circling on airport roads.
• Passengers are advised to check in at least 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international flights. Passengers should check with their airlines for updates on any flight delays or cancellations.
