CHRISTMAS MARKETS
TIVOLI GARDENS CHRISTMAS MARKET
The snow-dusted, light bedazzled winter wonderland is a
must-visit Christmas extravaganza. Catch a heartwarming
show, meet Santa, glide around the ice rink, hop on a ride
or two, and browse stalls selling everything from Yuletide
decorations and charming keepsakes to glass art and leather
goods. Open until January 4.
HØJBRO PLADS CHRISTMAS MARKET
Billed as Copenhagen’ s“ coziest Christmas market,” the merry
pop-up features a panoply of vendors selling giftable goodies
from Denmark and throughout Europe. Sip on steaming mugs
of glühwein and nosh on currywurst, stop by for a sit-down
with Santa, and take seasonal selfies in front of the glowing
holiday décor. Open until December 21.
COPENHAGEN WINTER WONDERLAND
Nestled in the heart of the city in Kongens Nytorv square,
the festive fair features an array of stalls from local shops,
restaurants, and bakeries, as well as a massive ice rink where you
can skate off the calories from all the æbleskiver( pancake balls)
and marzipan treats you indulged in. Open until January 4.

GULDSMEDEN MANON LES SUITES
Situated near the city center, this Instagram-ready, Baliinspired
boutique hotel is a tropical oasis with a massive pool
on the second floor, as well as a sauna, steam room, cold water
bucket bath, and outdoor lounge area on the rooftop. Guests
must be at least 15 years old.
TIVOLI HOTEL & CONGRESS CENTER
The modern-minded, family-friendly hotel, located by the
harbor and close to Tivoli Gardens, features an indoor pool and

restaurants offering sushi, steak, and French fare.

Located in the Latin Quarter, the boutique hotel’ s Nordic
chic rooms come equipped with workspaces and fitness kits,
though guests are continuously tempted to leave them for the
breakfast buffet, evening wine hour, and free concerts and DJ
sets on Friday nights.

During the winter, Scandinavian Airlines( SAS) offers nonstop flights between Washington Dulles International Airport( IAD) and Copenhagen Airport( CPH) three to four times a week and six days a week in the summer.
