GETTING AROUND
Staying in National Harbor usually means driving, as the closest Metro
stop is nearly 10 miles away. There is a ferry to Old Town Alexandria,
just across the river, which continues to stops at District Wharf and
Georgetown. It’s a lovely way to see the riverfront sights of D.C.
(think Jefferson Memorial, Kennedy Center, etc.) along the way. If
wishing more of the Potomac breeze upon your face, mount a Capital
Bikeshare bicycle from the rental station at the corner of Fleet and
Waterfront streets for a ride along the waterfront and beyond.
