The Smithsonian’s Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art
presents its largest interactive exhibition to date: three monumental
works by the Mexican Canadian artist will fill the building’s second
level. The Pulse series uses heart rate sensors to create unique
expressions in light and movement based on the biometric feedback
of participating visitors.

The 95-acre garden is transformed into a half-mile walk of lights.
Revisit perennial favorites such as the animated Lakeside Lights, the
Fountain of Lights and the Holiday Nature Walk — and look for new
displays each year.
RESTON HOLIDAY PARADE

Featuring Macy’s-style balloons, musicians, dancers, antique cars,
characters, community groups, dignitaries, special guest emcees
and much more, the one-hour, half-mile parade — named one of the
Best Holiday Parades in the country by USA Today — welcomes the
arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus in a horse-drawn carriage.
