The Virginia native and seven-time NBA All-Star is heading to Paris for the 2024 Summer Games as Managing Director of the USA Basketball Men ’ s National Team and has his sights set on the top podium . “ Do we win gold or do we not ? And that ’ s what it ’ s about ,” he says . As a gold medal-winning “ Dream Team II ” member from the 1996 Atlanta Summer Games , Grant Hill is no stranger to the Olympic stage . In Paris this summer , however , he ’ ll take on a very different role — Managing Director of USA Men ’ s Basketball . Hill took on the prestigious position in 2021 after the Tokyo Summer Olympics , so this will be the first Olympic Games in this role .
