Whether you ’ re visiting for business or pleasure , or Washington is your home , thank you for using Reagan National and Dulles International airports . Our dedicated staff are committed to giving you a safe , convenient and pleasurable passenger experience this summer , if you ’ re traveling a short distance or around the world . We are constantly adding new destinations and airlines as we continue to set records with our growing passenger numbers .
Both airports are undergoing big changes to make your travel more efficient and enjoyable . At Dulles International , a new 14-gate concourse with state-of-the-art amenities is under development . At Reagan National , a project named DCA Reimagined is transforming much of the airport with spacious seating , expanded and upgraded bathrooms , and new restaurants and retail stores .
Throughout the summer , our airport partners are offering a variety of options for your perfect holiday getaway . Travel experiences featured in this issue include the quiet luxury of Nantucket , a beguiling island 30 miles off the coast of Cape Cod , Massachusetts ; dynamic and influential Mexico City , with its vibrant art , architecture , food and culture ; and Munich ’ s six historic breweries , which have been attracting visitors to Germany since the 12th century .
If you ’ re visiting Washington , D . C ., come experience some of our national capital ’ s distinct neighborhoods , in addition to the museums and monuments for which our area is so well known . The District of Columbia ’ s exciting new wharf area is just one of the places featured in this issue .
