Embassy of Belgium Hosted by Gary Sinise and Joe Mantegna, this year’s show features
performances by Patti LaBelle, Alison Krauss, and Justin Moore, with
Sam Elliott and Jaina Lee Ortiz lending a helping hand, too. Aired live
from the West Lawn of the Capitol on PBS beginning at 8 pm EST on
May 26, the concert also brings to the stage the National Symphony
Orchestra, the U.S. Army Herald Trumpets, the U.S. Army Chorus and
Army Voices, the U.S. Navy Band Sea Chanters, the U.S. Air Force
Singing Sergeants, the Soldiers’ Chorus of the United States Army
Field Band, as well as special tributes to America’s fallen heroes.
In additon to beer and chocolate, the event will feature DJ Neekola
and there will be an opportunity to win your way to Tomorrowland
on one of the Brussels Airlines party flights!

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE

National Mall and Arlington National Cemetery
Military men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice get tribute
in the nation’s largest Memorial Day parade. Wreaths are laid and
names remembered at the Vietnam Memorial, Korean War Memorial,
and at the World War II Memorial on the National Mall, while across
the Potomac River at Arlington National Cemetery, a 21-gun salute
precedes the president laying a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown
Soldier. At 2 pm, patriotic fervor concentrates on Constitution Avenue
