Wreaths are laid and names remembered at the Vietnam Memorial, Korean War Memorial, and at the World War II Memorial on the National Mall, while across the Potomac River at Arlington National Cemetery, a 21-gun salute precedes the president laying a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
