the croque madame, made with rosemary ham and topped with a fried
local egg, and any number of sweet and savory crepes.
Loudoun County is home to award-winning wineries and distilleries,
and Catoctin Creek Distillery sits right in the heart of Purcellville,
offering tours and tastings of its award-winning whisky, gin, and
brandy. Its flagship whisky, Roundstone Rye, has delightful notes of
caramel, banana nut bread, and spicy rye. Wine lovers have plenty
of vineyards to explore just outside town, including The Barns at

sells vintage furniture, clothing, and decor for home and garden
from more than 30 vendors. Each room is impeccably styled, with its
own character. A sign by the stairs on the second floor reads, “We’re
Cooler on the Third Floor,” to which shoppers are heard to respond,
“It gets even cooler?”
