The James Beard Foundation, which celebrates the legacy of the acclaimed American chef, bestows its coveted annual honors on the professionals who make our food culture “more delicious, diverse and sustainable for everyone.” This year, seven standouts in the Washington, D.C. area were nominated as finalists for the JBF awards — superb recognition for them and for the capital region’s dazzling dining scene.
