COLADA SHOP

BRIGHTENS REAGAN NATIONAL

As morning begins and light filters through the glass walls of Terminal 2 at Reagan National, travelers at the C Gates notice a new glow: the neon-pink“ COLADA” sign warmly welcomes them to the lively cafe.
On January 14, 2026, Colada Shop officially opened at DCA, celebrating its first airport location of the popular Cuban cafe. The space opens at 4:30 a. m., with espresso machines steaming and early travelers grabbing a quick cafecito before their flight.
Daniella Senior, CEO of Colada Shop, called the airport debut“ a major milestone,” inviting guests to experience the warmth and energy that define the brand.
As passengers pass by, Colada Shop serves as both a welcoming gateway and a social hub— providing a flavor of Miami before take off.
The opening is more than a new dining choice; it celebrates Cuban culture and community at one of the region’ s busiest travel centers.
The design reflects Colada Shop’ s characteristic style: turquoise paneling, warm wooden accents, woven pendant lights, and a vibrant mural of a woman adorned with tropical flowers. Inside, visitors can relax in cafe-style seating or take a seat at the bar, where drinks like cafe Cubanos, cortaditos, and Havana cold brew are expertly prepared. By noon, the focus moves to mojitos, piña coladas, and espresso martinis— celebrating both Havana’ s nightlife and pre-flight festivities.
The all-day menu combines comfort and authenticity. Croquetas and empanadas serve as savory, portable snacks, while the traditional Cuban sandwich, Cubanos— filled with mojo pork, ham, Swiss cheese, mustard, and pickles on pressed Cuban bread— serves as the menu’ s centerpiece. Early departures are eased with breakfast sandwiches, churro waffles, pastelitos, and pan de bono.
