WORLD-CLASS SOCCER LANDS IN THE REGION THIS SUMMER

This June, the National Capital Region will become a global soccer destination as the FIFA Club World Cup comes to the United States for the first time. Thirty-two of the world’ s top club teams will arrive at Washington Dulles International Airport to compete in the tournament.
Washington, D. C.’ s Audi Field will host three matches. The first kicks off on June 18 at 9 PM, with Italian powerhouse Juventus FC challenging the UAE’ s Al Ain FC. On June 22 at 6 PM, Austria’ s FC Salzburg will face Saudi Arabia’ s Al Hilal. The final D. C. game will feature Wydad AC from Morocco taking on Al Ain FC on June 26 at 3 PM.
Sixty-three matches will be played across the country as part of the tournament. Whether you’ re a die-hard fan or experiencing the game for leisure, D.
