Rome, Italy Credit: scaliger/Getty It’s been 66 years since Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck motored through the streets of Rome together in the classic, Oscar-award winning film, Roman Holiday, and started an infatuation for the city as seen from the seat of a speeding Vespa. Little has changed in here since the golden days of “Hollywood on the Tiber,” and Rome remains every bit as epic and atmospheric. There may be plenty of tourist buses lining the busy streets, but most locals will tell you that the best way to see the city is still on two wheels.
