D . C . -based Compass Coffee is an open , industrial cafe and roaster with artisanal brews , pastries , sandwiches , and more . With incredible flavor offerings including The Maple Latte , Nutella Mocha , and a Mint Julep Cold Brew , fans of Compass have been loyal since its establishment in 2014 . Since then , owners Michael Haft and Harrison Suarez have gone on to open five total locations in the D . C . area .
