registered runner spots opened on March 22 and ended on March 29.
It’s not a very large window to squeeze into given the allotted time,
however the good news is that if you won a spot, you found out on
March 30. While the MCM is sold out for this year’s event, runners still
can register to run with any of the MCM’s 88 Charity Partners available
through the website at www.marinemarathon.com, or through the
offi cial MCM Transfer Program that opened on July 12.

MCM Weekend each October includes a myriad of other activities,
including the MCM10K, held in conjunction with the Marathon; the
MCM Kids Run — a one-mile fun run for kids ages 5 to 12; the two day
Health & Fitness Expo, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention
Center located in National Harbor and the Carbo Dining In pasta
celebration hosted the evening prior to the MCM.
On October 22 , 2017, whether you want to cheer runners off at
the starting line on Route 110 in Arlington at 7:55 a.m., or cheer
them to the fi nish at the U.S. Marine Corps War Memorial, the
