EDITOR’S NOTE
A
s the summer months have came and gone,
Now we head into the fall months. Flying in
most parts of the United States can adversely affect flight operations. Poor weather conditions
with fast moving fronts, strong and gusty winds, rain,
and thunderstroms, conditions are just part of the
conditions that require careful planning in order to
minimize their effects. Operation in this environment
requires special fall operating procedures.
This month’s issue we will look at flying in Fall
weather conditions. We have a review of FS Cloud
with our Navy Division, Polar Operations by Boeing.
We also have a first look at ORBX FTX Vector.
Let us know how we’re doing or if there’s
anything else we should be offering; we want your
feedback. Thank you for sharing your stories and
reading our articles.
