These three layers work together resulting in a tyre that is perfect for fork lift truck applications. 1. Tread layer Natural rubber compound - Wear and tear resistant - Reduced chunking and chipping - Low heat build up 2. Resilient layer Low hysteresis compound - Optimal elasticity and shock absorption for a more comfortable ride - Low heat build up 3. Bead layer Tough natural rubber compound - Integral steel bands and bead ring reinforcement LARGE CONTACT AREA Compared to other FLT tyres, STARCO Unicorn has a greater tread depth, reducing heat build-up and enhancing the inherent heat dissipation of the tyre. Similarly, a reduction of the number of open lugs and gaps, together with a square type shoulder design, gives the STARCO Unicorn tyre a higher net-to-gross ground contact ratio. Open lugs give increased flexibility under load and maneuvering and promote better self-cleaning of the tyre in mud and snow conditions.
