MEASURING OUTCOMES
As part of the 2021 ADA Vendor Showcase survey , respondents were asked : Do you believe that adult patients have better oral health outcomes by incorporating an OTC fluoride mouthrinse in their everyday dental homecare routine ?
KEYS TO PATIENT COMPLIANCE
Of 1,367 dentists who answered the 2021 ADA Vendor Showcase survey , about 61 % say they frequently recommend that patients add an OTC fluoride mouthrinse to their homecare regimen . They usually focus this advice on teenagers but do report recommending it to most age groups within their patient base . Note that 97 % of survey participants were dentists and the others included hygienists , dental assistants , office managers , and other .
