Pember, Tanya

I was born and raised in the greater Sacramento area. I am a carpenter's daughter and my mother is a wonderful artist. In 2010 I moved to the Yuba Sutter area and married Sean Pember, who also holds three degrees in art. I have two children a boy and girl. I am first generation graduate Spring 2016 with an associates in Arts & Humanities. I was fortunate to travel outside the country and spend a year in Morocco exploring the other side of the Mediterranean, one city I wanted to see was the Blue city but was never able to complete. I started my education at Yuba college in 2013 with traditional film processes and have my own darkroom continuing my passion for traditional black and white film. I started my own business of arts, crafts and photography were I sell my art and wares. This summer I took color theory at Sierra college so I could understand acrylic paints and the power of color. I am continuing my education to gain a degree in early childhood education so I may teach our younger children art process.
