tells a human story, each exhibits wonder, passion, excitement, courage, tragedy, and transformation. Each unites us with the truth.
Searching through my own photographs, and thinking of these famous images from history, I am reminded of what Robert Frost said, “Our very life depends on everything recurring til we answer from within.” Taking, sharing, being in photographs is one way that I navigate myself through life. The places, the history, the people, the emotions, the smiles, all reoccur again and again, asking me to look inward. Photographs call each of us to action, to celebrate our lives, ponder the mysteries of life, and remember who we are, where we’ve been, and where we
are going.
