Moreth, Michael

Michael Moreth is a recovering Chicagoan living in the rural, micropolitan City of Sterling, the Paris of Northwest Illinois.

Myers, K.C.

China Myers has been published in Jezebel Magazine, Meetings & Tourism and as a book editor in Duende Literary Magazine. Living in southern California with her husband, two kids and a very spoiled cat, she finds time to enjoy nature and share her love of art and ancient history to kids as a docent at the Getty Villa Museum of Malibu. Writing has always been a part of her life. Although her publicity career led her to press releases and biographies, she has found her path back to her first love – writing. Currently, a graduate student at Lesley University, she fancies poetry and fiction. Now, she is mostly found crouched in a corner chair writing her mythopoeic novel series.

Rem, Emil

The child of Ismaili Muslim parents, Emil Rem was born to a middle-class East Indian family living in Tanzania. At the age of five, amid the political upheavals in Tanzania at the time, he was uprooted and shipped off to England, where he was brought up by a working-class English family. His teenage life was spent commuting between one culture and the other. Eventually, considering himself an alien to both cultures, he emigrated to Canada. Emil started writing to pass on his heritage to his two teenage boys. The stories compare individuals he met on his travels to those left behind or long dead in Africa and England. Since then, Emil's stories have been published worldwide. ‘Band of Angels’ is story set in New York, with flashbacks to Calgary, where Emil now resides.
