I am a full time lead pastor of First United Methodist Church of Arlington Heights, IL, and a fairly new writer. I have published essays in The Christian Century and Duke’s Faith and Leadership online resource. I have taken to the story telling stage, telling true and personal stories. Mukund Gnanadesikan’s poems and short fiction have been published in literary magazines spanning five continents. Most recently, his work appears in Grand Little Things, The Fib Review, and Cordite Poetry Review’s “Brownface” issue. His debut novel, Errors of Omission, was released in November 2020 by Adelaide Books. When not writing, he practices psychiatry in Napa, California.
