Fowler, Jaclyn-

Jaclyn Maria Fowler earned a doctorate in education from Penn State and an MFA in creative writing from Wilkes University. She is an adventurer, a lover of culture and language and people in general. Fowler is an American woman of Irish descent married to a Palestinian man, and she works as the English Faculty Director and Associate Professor at American Public University System (APUS). Fowler is the author of "It is Myself that I Remake."

Gerard, R.-

R. Gerard (he/him) is a poet and social worker in southwestern Virginia. He aims to capture pivotal moments in the speaker's life and invoke an empathic response within readers.

Hernandez, Christian-

My name is Christian Hernandez, and I am 18 years old. I am currently located in Sacramento, California, but I was born in Yuba City, California. I went to Yuba City High School for all 4 years, and I graduate in June of 2018. I am currently attending Yuba Community college as a part-time student. This is my second semester at Yuba College, and I plan on furthering my education. Then I plan on transfer to Sacramento State, San Francisco State, or to UCLA by 2020. My hobbies include walking around Sacramento capturing photographs that seem appealing to me while I'm listening to music and processing them through Photoshop.

Huang, Ann-

Ann Huang is an author, poet, and filmmaker based in Newport Beach, Southern California. She was born in Mainland, China and raised in Mexico and the U.S. World literature and theatrical performances became dominating forces during her linguistic training at various educational institutions. Huang possesses a unique global perspective of the past, present, and future of Latin America, the United States, and China. She is an MFA candidate from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and has authored one chapbook and three poetry collections. Her surrealist poem “Night Lullaby,” was a Ruth Stone Poetry Prize finalist. "Crustacea" another of her surrealist poems, was nominated Best of the Net in Priestess & Hierophant. In addition, Huang's book-length poetry collection, Saffron Splash, was a finalist in the CSU Poetry Center's Open Book Poetry Competition. Her newest poetry collection, A Shaft of Light, is set to come out in 2019.
