Contributor Bios

Ed Ahern resumed writing after forty odd years in foreign intelligence and international sales. He’s had a hundred eighty poems and stories published so far, and three books. His collected fairy and folk tales, The Witch Made Me Do It, a novella The Witches’ Bane, and his collected fantasy stories, Capricious Visions. He works the other side of writing at Bewildering Stories, where he sits on the review board and manages a posse of five review editors.

Beatriz Alvarenga is a psychology graduate and writing enthusiast who has an insatiable curiosity about the world we live in, and a deep desire to learn and understand what is it that makes us who we are. She sees literature as a tool to explore our minds - and that`s probably why she loves it so much.

John "JJ" Casey grew up in Marlow, NH. A member of the Academy of American Poets, he graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1992, and from Florida State University with a Master of Arts in 1994. He is a 22-year Veteran of the Air Force, where he served globally and in combat as a tactical airlift and developmental test pilot, and later as an international affairs strategist and military diplomat in Germany, Ethiopia, and at the Pentagon. An aspiring novelist and poet, John's writing is inspired by the incredible spectrum of people and cultures he has experienced throughout his life. He resides in San Antonio with his wife and two children.

Nikolaus Euwer is an avid gardener and enjoys writing poetry when he finds inspiration.
