One of the most important celebrations in the world is Christmas, which is celebrated between December 24th and 25th. raditionally in Nigeria and all over the world, the Christmas flower is the poinsettias.
First of all, the Poinsettia symbolizes joy, love, purity and hope amongs other things and the Star of Betlehem, Symbolically the star shape of the flowers is also considered to be similar to the star that led the wise men to Jesus, which is why many people make it part of their Christmas decorations. Or in a slightly more gruesome interpretation, the red leaves could be a symbol of the blood of Christ.
Secondly, the Poinsettia flower was discovered
