In Turkish culture, it is not so common for us to use flowers on religious festivals,but if you want to take flowers to your relatives as a gift during your visits at these Eids,liliums are the best choice.They represent devotion and innocence.In our country before engagement families come together to know eachother.At this ceremony the future groom gives roses to the future bride to show how important marriage is for him.For engagement ceremonies fresh lavender,tulips and daffodils are preferred which represent power and loyalty.
At weddings white lilies which mean love and innocence are used. Red cloves are the most preferred flowers at funerals.Although tulips are associated with the Netherlands,they are the national flowers of Türkiye.
Overall they express purity nevertheless if they are in shades of red they lead to meaning of 'love' . The black rose that grows on the steep rocks is only found in Şanlıurfa in Türkiye and it expresses hope.
