A unique and longstanding tradition among
the St. Augustine residents is to choose three
heritage natives to represent The Royal Family
of Spain in the year 1672. If you are among the
heritage natives chosen for this honor, along
with the Easter Week Festival committee, we
celebrate our culture with numerous small
events and an Easter Parade, which is the
culmination of the years’ activities. All events
take place from Palm Sunday and run through
Easter each year
