The first occupant was Spanish Royal Treasurer Juan Esteban de Pena, and later, it was the last official seat of the British government in 1785, in what is now the United States. Since 1932, The Woman’s Exchange, founded in St. Augustine in 1892, manages the Pena Peck House and also offers guided tours and operates a gift shop, where you can purchase American hand-crafted and specialty gift items.
