Family Art Workshop
Vilano Beach Art Programs offers an instructional art session
for the entire family at the North Shore Improvement
Association Community Center on Vilano Beach from
2-4 p.m. Some art supplies are provided. The family rate is
$40 for non-members or $25 for members. For individuals,
the cost is $20 for non-members and $10 for members,
plus the cost of materials (depending on the art).

Sundays at Stetson’s
This event is located at Beluthahatchee Park, the home
grounds of the late Stetson Kennedy, whose home is a
twice-dedicated literary landmark. The music starts at 2 p.m.
at the Hart House with tours of Stetson’s Cottage available
at 1 p.m. and following the concert at 4 p.m. A donation of
$10 per attendee is suggested. Reservations are required by

Family Seining at the GTM Research Reserve
Hosted by the GTM Research Reserve, join docents from
9-11 a.m. to learn how to pull a seine net. Collect fish and
crabs as well as learn about their habitats and role in the
environment. Waders and boots provided. The program
takes place in the Environmental Education Center. There is a
