Jail Break 5K
Make a break from St. Augustine at the Jail Break 5K. Hosted
by the Velofest Community Initiative and Old Town Trolley
Tours, this 5K race takes participants from the Old Jail
throughout St. Augustine. The race begins at 8 a.m. Post-

Colonial Kitchen
Join park volunteers and staff from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. for
ongoing demonstrations highlighting the colonial kitchen
at Fort Matanzas. Re-enactors dressed as Spanish colonial
women will describe the life of a typical woman in
St. Augustine and demonstrate how foods from three
different cultures combined to create some of the best
dishes available in 1740s colonial Spanish Florida.
