St. Augustine Spanish Wine Festival
The St. Augustine Spanish Wine Festival returns for its
6 th year with fine Spanish wine and food to benefit local
charities. All events of this year’s festival take place at
the St. Augustine Shipyard. The events include the
Cava Reception and Dinner Friday at 6 p.m., Cochinillo
Asado, Spanish pig roast Saturday at 5 p.m., Batalla de Vino,
wine fight Saturday at 6:30 p.m., and Grand Tasting Sunday

Sing Out Loud Festival
The Sing Out Loud Festival is a St. Augustine celebration of
music featuring free concerts by local, regional and national
acts spanning three weekends in September at various

Feel the Love 5K
The Feel the Love 5K starts at the St. Johns County Pier at
8 a.m. The race route takes runners on a flat course through
St. Augustine Beach neighborhoods and ends at the pier.
Registration ranges from $35-$25. Proceeds from the race

Founder’s Day
This day honors the 452 nd anniversary of the Pedro
Menéndez landing in St. Augustine. The event will take place
at the Nombre de Diós Mission grounds, 27 Ocean Ave., and
Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park, 11 Magnolia Ave.
At 10 a.m. at the mission, a re-enactment of the landing will
take place. Then, a Catholic Mass will be held on the mission
grounds. Next, there will be a re-enactment of the First
Thanksgiving at the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park.
From 1-5 p.m., there will be living history demonstrations
at the park. General admission into the Fountain of Youth is
