Third Fridays:
Centennial Evenings at Castillo de San Marcos
As an additional way to commemorate the National Park
Service Centennial and provide more opportunities to “Find
Your Park,” the Castillo de San Marcos will have extended
hours on the third Friday of the month through September.
Visit the Castillo from 5 - 7 p.m. to informally explore the
history and importance of this fortress. 1 South Castillo

VIP Gallery Art Stroll & Tasting Tour
Enjoy St Augustine’s art and history with a professional
tour guide on this intimate, entertaining VIP walking tour
through the ancient streets of the city’s historic district.
During this 2.5-hour experience, you will learn how
St. Augustine’s art, architecture and culture create one of
the most unique old world cities in the United States today.
You’ll also enjoy culinary tasting stops for wine and light
tapas that will be relevant to St Augustine’s art scene.
The tour departs at 4:30 p.m. from Tour Saint Augustine.

Photography Challenge Event
Photographers, from beginners to professionals, compete
to take the best photo at three designated locations within
Washington Oaks Gardens State Park. Maps to the featured
locations can be obtained from the Ranger Station or
from volunteers in the main parking lot. Each month,
park volunteers will select the winning photo, which
will then be displayed at the Visitors Information
