Dia de los Difuntos
Take part in the ancient Spanish tradition of El Dia de los
Difuntos (Day of the Deceased) when families and friends
celebrate and joyfully honor the memory of their loved ones
who have died. From 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., a demonstration of
historic customs and foodways associated with this holiday
and still used by Hispanic cultures to prepare for All Souls
Day will takes place. The Marcha de la Santa Compaña
(March of the Holy Company), is a torch lit procession
through downtown St. Augustine at 7 p.m. from the Plaza
along St. George Street to the City Gate area, with historical
re-enactors representing the souls of “the Noble and Loyal
City’s” citizens. This event ends with an abbreviated, candlelit production of the play, Don Juan Tenorio at the Tolomato
Cemetery. Admission is free. 14 Cordova Street,

Bonnie Raitt at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre
GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriter Bonnie Raitt brings
her “Dig in Deep Tour” to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.
Bonnie will donate one dollar from every ticket purchased to
grassroots local, regional and national organizations whose
work focuses on safe and sustainable energy, social justice
and human rights, environmental protection, and blues/
music education. Doors open at 6 p.m.; show starts at
7:30 p.m. Tickets are $99.50, $89.50, $49.50 & $39.50.

St. Augustine Shrine Club Chowder Challenge for Children
The St. Augustine Shrine Club Chowder Challenge for
Children will be held at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre from
noon - 4 p.m. The event is a cooking competition for the best
chowder, Minorcan, New England and various others. The
proceeds will be donated to the Shriner’s Hospital in Tampa
to help serve the children and their families. Food and drinks
