Family Seining at the GTM Research Reserve
Hosted by the GTM Research Reserve, you’re invited to join docents from
8:30-10:30 a.m. to learn how to pull a seine net. Participants will collect fish
and crabs as well as learn about their habitats and role in the environment.
Waders and boots provided. The program takes place in the Environmental
Education Center. There is a $3 parking fee per vehicle. 505 Guana River

GTM Research Reserve Marineland Lecture
This free lecture series hosted by the GTM Research Reserve is held on the
third Tuesday of the month from 10-11 a.m. at Marineland Dolphin Adventure.
Tickets must be purchased online. Bring ticket to the Marineland gift shop on
the day of the scheduled presentation to gain entry. Please arrive by

Beach Exploration at the GTM Research Reserve
Join the GTM Research Reserve on the third Saturday each month for this
family friendly beach walk at the Guana South Beach location from
8:30-10:30 a.m. Participants will learn about the animals that live at the
beach as well as other interesting beach facts. Parking is $3 per vehicle.

Nocatee Farmers Market
Nocatee Farmers Market takes place from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. every third
Saturday across from the Nocatee Welcome Center. This free, family friendly
event has more than 70 local vendors selling produce, crafts, jewelry, herbs,
unique foods and more. Free face painting is available for youth, along with a

Tolomato Cemetery Guided Tour
Tour the oldest extant planned cemetery in Florida with burials from the
First Spanish Period, 1565-1763. Admission is free, and donations are
