May 5 Changing of the Guard Wearing the distinctive blue coats of the 18th century Spanish soldier members of San Agustin Garrison march into place for the Changing of the Guard . They Guard is dismissed for the night , but not before their replacements arrive and are ready to take over the duty of guarding Governor ’ s House Cultural Center & Museum , the home of the Spanish Governor and the seat of power . May 6 First Coast Tour de Cure Since 1991 , Tour de Cure riders have raised funds to help advance the mission and move closer toward the ultimate goal to stop diabetes .
