May 5 Changing of the Guard Wearing the distinctive blue coats of the 18th century Spanish soldier members of San Agustin Garrison march into place for the Changing of the Guard. They Guard is dismissed for the night, but not before their replacements arrive and are ready to take over the duty of guarding Governor’ s House Cultural Center & Museum, the home of the Spanish Governor and the seat of power. This reenactment takes place 7-7:30 p. m. and is one of the opening events of the ten-day Romanza Festivale and occurs in front of Governor’ s House Cultural Center & Museum on the Plaza. www. romanzastaugustine. org

May 6 First Coast Tour de Cure Since 1991, Tour de Cure riders have raised funds to help advance the mission and move closer toward the ultimate goal to stop diabetes.
