April 21-30 St. Augustine Plein Air Paint Out: Impressions of the Flagler Era Artists are invited to participate in a 10-day, community-wide Plein Air Paint Out in historic St. Augustine hosted by the St. Augustine Art Association. The event celebrates the town’ s opulent Gilded Age environment. Artists may choose cityscapes, architectural landmarks, building details, open spaces, interiors and other perspectives as subject matter. Selected works will be featured in GILDED, a juried exhibition at the St. Augustine Art Association. April 21-May 14 I Ought to be in Pictures at the Limelight Theatre This was Limelight Theatre’ s first show, on stage 25 years ago. This Neil Simon play tells the story of a 19-year-old New Yorker who moves to Hollywood to become an actress and find her father, a screenwriter. Performance times are 7:30 p. m. April 22 5K Run for K-9s United Join this 5K run and one-mile fun run on Saturday. This race is in its second year and is a fundraiser for K-9s United. This event is open to runners and walkers of all levels. In addition to the race, there will be post-race activities for the entire family, including a K-9 demonstration. Service Dogs only, please.
