Glen Hansard Concert
Academy Award-winning Irish singer/songwriter Glen Hansard
performs at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. The songwriter behind

Middle Passage Ceremony
A remembrance ceremony and historic marker installation
celebrating the diverse settlement of St. Augustine and its African,
European, and Native American cultural and religious heritage.
Middle Passage is the designation given to the transatlantic
journey to the New World made principally by Africans captured to
be sold into slavery in the Americas. The remembrance ceremony
takes place at noon at the Castillo de San Marcos and the historic
marker dedication takes place at 3 p.m. at Mission Nombre de Dios,

Fountain of Youth: Cherokee History Presentations
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., native Cherokee historians describe how
their people interacted with the local Timucua for centuries before
