Flight to Freedom
Every 15 minutes from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., visitors will be taken on a
guided walk along the freedom trail to experience what it was like
for the hundreds of slaves who traveled to Fort Mose in search of

Artist Peter Max at The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach
Meet artist legend Peter Max and view a newly-curated collection
of his work at The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach. Peter Max
meets the public from 4 - 7 p.m. on Saturday and from 1 - 4 p.m.
on Sunday. This weekend presentation also showcases the “Love”
suites, a tribute to Max’s image of love and romance for Valentine’s

Presidents Day Weekend at the Hall of Fame
Enjoy learning about Hall of Fame Presidents George H.W. Bush and

SOJA and The Green Concert
Reggae-rock group SOJA and special guest The Green perform at the
Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. SOJA’s positive musical message blends
reggae, go-go, Latin, rock and hip-hop. The show begins at 7:30 p.m.

Bag Lady Luncheon
One of Northeast Florida’s most popular fundraisers for the arts
takes place at the Beach Club at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach.
In addition to a delicious luncheon and a complimentary glass
of wine, the event features a silent auction with more than 100
handbags donated by local individuals and retailers. Proceeds
benefit the Friends for the Arts and their efforts in support of The
Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach. Shopping will start at 11

North Mississippi All Stars and Anders Osborne Concert
Performing together as N.M.O., the North Mississippi All Stars
and Anders Osborne kick off their coast-to-coast tour with a
performance at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. Formed in 1996,
North Mississippi All Stars pioneered their own brand of bluesinfused rock and roll. Called “the poet laureate of Louisiana’s fertile
roots music scene” by Guitar Player magazine, Anders Osborne
has been named New Orleans’ Best Guitarist for three consecutive
years. The show begins at 8 p.m., doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are

John Hammond Concert
The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall hosts one of the world’s premier
acoustic blues artists, John Hammond. A Grammy Award winner
and eight-time Grammy nominee, John Hammond is a member of
the Blues Hall of Fame. The concert begins at 8 p.m. (doors open
at 7 p.m.). Admission for the first four rows $30; all remaining rows

Velo Fest Wrigley Ride
The 4th Annual Wrigley Ride for bicyclists starts at 9 a.m.
(7 a.m. check-in) from Sykes and Cooper Farms in Elkton. This is
a fully supported ride with SAG and rest stops every 10-15 miles.
Local music, food and friendship await at the end of the ride.
Riders choose 100k, 50k or 25k courses. Registration, including
commemorative jersey and Velofest membership, is $125 for the
100k and 50k; $115 for the 25k. Registration only is $55 for the
100k and 50k; $45 for the 25k. All proceeds go to the Velo Fest
Community Initiative to create awareness between cyclists and
non-cyclists for mutually beneficial roads and to the Bryan B.
