Militia Muster at Fort Mose (November & January only)
Musket firing demonstrations take place from 9-11:30 a.m. at Fort Mose
Historic State Park. Youth are welcome to participate in Junior Militia
training with handmade wooden toy muskets and authentic militia
uniform items. Monthly musters will not be held during December.
This program is free to the public; however, Visitor Center admission is
$2 per person. Youth under age 6 is free. The park is open from

Drum Runner Series Barrel Racing
at St. Johns County Fairgrounds
Saddle up and head over to the St. Johns County Fairgrounds for
monthly barrel, pole and other timed speed horse events. The event
is open to the public and free for spectators. The races begin at

Art & Architecture Walking Tour
The St. Augustine Art Association offers an Art and Architecture
Walking Tour focusing on the iconic art, architecture and history of
the St. Augustine community. In this 90-minute tour, the art historian
guide will point out paintings and examples of Spanish, Colonial and
Victorian architecture, monuments, murals, public sculptures and
stained glass. The tour starts at the St. Augustine Art Association at

Family Seining at the GTM Research Reserve
Hosted by the GTM Research Reserve, join docents from 9-11 a.m.
to learn how to pull a seine net. Participants will collect fish and crabs
as well as learn about their habitats and role in the environment.
Waders and boots provided. There is a $3 parking fee per vehicle.

Beach Exploration at the GTM Research Reserve
Join the GTM Research Reserve for a family friendly beach walk
at the Guana South Beach location from 9-11 a.m. Participants
will learn about the animals that live at the beach as well as other
