DECEMBER December 15-17 A Seussified Christmas Carol A whimsical reinvention of Dickens’ most beloved Christmas story in wacky rhymed couplets, this tale of glorious holiday cheer is similar to something Dr. Seuss might have come up with - if he ever had his way with the story. This 90-minute guided tour departs from Tour Saint Augustine at 4 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person, and a portion of the proceeds from the ticket sales for this tour will be donated to the ACCORD Civil Rights Museum in St. Augustine. Advance reservations required. 4 Granada St., St. Augustine 904-825-0087 www.staugustineblackheritagetours.com December 16 Las Posadas Del Viejo San Agustín/The Posadas of Old St. Augustine Florida Living History volunteers will present this annual holiday heritage event set in 1580 from 7-9 p.m. along St. George Street in historic downtown St. Augustine. Las Posadas, a 400-year-old colonial Hispanic Christmas tradition, will include a nighttime, torch-lit procession through the oldest city for youth of all ages. There will be a re-enacting of Mary and Joseph’s search for lodgings in Bethlehem on the first Christmas Eve.
