Friday, Saturday & Sunday Historic Weapon Demonstrations at Castillo de San Marcos
National Parks Service volunteers and personnel demonstrate
the weapons and relate the experiences of the Colonial Spanish
soldier stationed in St. Augustine in the 1740s. Demonstration
times are 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Admission is $10 for adults; children 15 and under are free. The Castillo

Saturday - Old City Farmer’s Market
Shop for fresh produce, baked goods, fresh seafood in season,
hand-crafted items and plants directly from the producers. There’s
always live entertainment. The Old City Farmers’ Market takes
place every Saturday from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the St. Augustine

First Wednesday, Lightner Museum Curator Tours
Lightner Museum curator provides a themed interactive tour designed
to give participants an opportunity to see acquisitions in operation
rather than just as static displays. The tour, which is included in
admission, takes place at 10 a.m. on the second floor of Lightner
Museum. Regular admission is $10 adults; $6 for active duty military;
$5 college student and youth ages 12-18; under 12 are free.

First Friday - Garden Walk
Visit Washington Oaks Gardens State Park on the first Friday of
every month for a guided tour of the beautiful gardens. Meet in the
garden parking lot at 10 a.m. and wear comfortable shoes. The tour
will last approximately one hour. Admission into the park is $5 per
vehicle, up to eight people; $4 per vehicle for single occupancy or

First Friday - Art Walk
From 5-9 p.m. on the first Friday of every month, the Art Galleries
of St. Augustine feature new exhibits, refreshments and live music
at more than 20 galleries. The event is held rain or shine inside the
member galleries and is a free, self-guided walking tour. Tour maps
are available at participating galleries. Free Art Walk Trolleys and
