Last Sunday: Plant-A-Poem Workshop and Reading
Arrive with a poem seed and cultivate it in an hour with miracle grow
from the Ancient City Poets. The workshop is 1:45 - 3 p.m. at The
Gallery Cafe, 1974 US 1 (in the OLD Staples Plaza) in St. Augustine.
$10 per person includes endless coffee and sweet treats. Following
the workshop go to City Coffee located at 1280 N. Ponce de Leon
Blvd) from 3 - 5 p.m., for a free open mic poetry reading.

Last Sunday: Music in the Box
Live acoustic music by some of the area’s best up-and-coming bands
and musicians will be on stage at Limelight Theatre’s studio space the
last Sunday of the month. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., concert starts at

Haunted Trails
The Florida Agricultural Museum provides spine-tingling fun for all
ages on a wagon ride through the woods, magic shows, carnival
games and a haunted house. Come in costume! (Wear sensible
shoes you’ll be walking and you never know what might be lurking
in the sands beneath your feet.) The ride takes place 6 - 10 p.m.
Admission is $12 adults; Kids $10; under 5 are free. A variety of food

City Walks The Origins of Halloween, Celtic Samhain
History & Mystery Tour
During Halloween week, when the veil between the living and the
dead is said to be the thinnest, the nightly History, Mystery, Murder
& Mayhem tours become enchanted with stories of the origins of
Halloween; the true ‘Samhain’ Celtic New Year. Tickets are $13 per

Undisclosed: Photographs from the Hidden Lightner Exhibition
For the past two years, photographer Theresa Segal has explored
the historic Lightner Museum’s restricted fourth floor: 44 small
rooms that were the servants quarters of the Alcazar Hotel. This
new exhibition features a selection of 20 of her photographs
that chronicle the museum’s hidden, stored collections. Regular
museum admission is $10 adults; $6 for active duty military; $5
