Augustine , Inc . and the Lastinger Family Foundation for the purpose of generating excitement about the history of America ’ s oldest city . The festival showcases every era of St . The encampment takes place at the Oldest House Museum Complex beginning on Friday . On Saturday from 10 a . m . – 5 p . m . drills , demonstrations , and 16th century living history interpretations will be presented . A battle between the Spanish town ’ s brave defenders and the English privateers and brigands of Sir Francis Drake will be reenacted beginning at 7 p . m . The battle will commence at the Santo Domingo Redoubt near the City Gate and proceed down St .
