"BEAST ON THESE BEATS" plays like a tell-tale sign of what’s going on in the hood today. On the classic hip-hop instrumental, Trev reminisces on his past street ventures while hoping for better days.
"FOUL" gives Trev his moment to shine over rapper Nas's "Foul Breeze" beat. Bar after bar, the Queens’ emcee reminds you why he does what he does, while giving you potent wordplay styling over the rhythmic God-Son tune.
"BLASPHEMY" is probably the most thought provoking track on the entire project. The song highlights everything from street violence to jail… even makes reference to Caitlyn Jenner. The Makevelli inspired track targets media manipulation, amongst other topics including his view of Transgenders in hip-hop. Trev clearly invokes the spirit of barbershop talk on this one.
Overall, this musical movie takes you on a fun and thought-provoking ride through the streets. In a time where most rappers sound alike, Trev Munroe stands out with social content mixed with music for the hood… from start to finish, it’s definitely a must listen!
