What inspired you to become musical artists? Korey: I grew up listening to old school. I liked the vibe and feeling. Scottie: As far as I can remember, I’ve always done music. Even as a kid, I sang in the church choir.

How would you describe your sound? Korey: We are not rappers. Our music is versatile – it appeals to everyone. We have fans worldwide. Our sound is designed for everyone.

Describe the state of music in Arkansas - what are the positives and the negatives? Korey: The positive is our music is easily accepted; the negative is we don’t conform to the popular demand.

What are your musical career goals? Korey: To live overseas and share our music in different countries, establish HoodLyfe Entertainment as the new mo-town records so we can bring great music back to the people... something that means something and moves people.

Do you have any upcoming projects we can look forward to? Scottie: I have a semi-solo album about to drop called Pounds & #Hashtag.

If you could choose one musical artist to collaborate with, who would it be? Scottie: Andre 3000. Korey: Kendrick.

When you're not making music, what are your favorite pastimes? Korey: Think of ways to make more money. Scottie: I enjoy doing random acts of kindness and helping strangers in my free time.
