So a little of my background is, I started going to a fitness bootcamp about 3 1/2 years ago after trying on some dresses and looked at my backside in the mirror and wasn't happy with what I saw. My best friend was already going, so knowing that helped me get started. So after about a year of doing bootcamp I decided I wanted to do a bikini competition. So my best friend and I talked to our trainer and got started on our training and I did my 1st one Sept of 2013 and loved it.

About 6 months later I left that bootcamp for personal reasons and took 2014 off to figure out a few things. In January of 2015 my best friend and I opened our own women only bootcamp and decided to get back to our own training and get ready for a few competitions.

I do all my work outs at home. I have a good amount of equipment and weights but having 2 1/2 acres gives you lots of ideas.

I do all of my work outs outside which makes me feel like I get more out of it.

My first competition was Sept 2013, which was the only one I did that year and then decided to do three this year, 1st was in May of this year, 2nd was in August and my 3rd and last show this year was in October. Loved each and every one and learned so much from each one.

I think the thing that motivates me the most is the energy I get from working out, I know that's kinda weird to say but I have more energy now then I ever had and just the all over good feeling I get after a great work out. My hardest part is definitely the dieting. I am a very picky eater so finding things I like and making it different can be difficult but I make it work. Can't say I never cheat though lol (cont. pg 24).
