Please share something of your background and how it relates to your current interest in fitness and modeling.

I participated in gymnastics and cheerleading from early childhood through college, which I believe, contributes greatly to my interest in fitness. I also work in healthcare and I am reminded of the importance of health prevention on a regular basis. I am an occupational therapist by training, receiving both my bachelor and master’s degrees from Florida International University. I currently work as a senior research analyst working with Service Members and Veterans who have sustained a traumatic brain injury. I am very passionate about my profession and feel grateful to be able to do what I do, but I also appreciate the stress relief that comes from working out.

Though it can sometimes be overwhelming, I think it is

beneficial to have something that requires my time and attention outside of work so that I can

leave my work at the office.

Do you get the opportunity to dress up much? And what’s your favorite type of clothing and why?

I do ‘dress up’ for work on a daily basis, although most times I would prefer to stay in workout

attire.

Share with us a bit about your contest history and most memorable show experience.

I have three shows under my belt and have been with Bombshell Fitness for two of the shows.

My most memorable show experience would have to be Battle on the Beach/NPC Southern

USA for many reasons.

The amount of support provided from our Bombshell coaches

throughout the entirety of the show from check-in through finals was incredible. It was also my

first show that was both an IFBB and a NPC show and I was in awe of the kindness and humility

of so many of the pros that I look up to. I have to admit I was definitely star-struck but the

giddiness helped me enjoy the whole experience (cont. pg 22).
