Please share something of your background and how it relates to your current interest in fitness and modeling. I’ve always been into fitness and eating right, and always considered a gym rat by many that knew me. A trainer asked me many moons back if I wanted to compete but as I was working 3-4 jobs and attending college full time I just didn’t have an interest or any spare time to get involved.

As I’ve watched the fitness competitions grow over the years and was told by several that I should compete I finally looked into it late 2013 and started training for my first competition in March 2014 where of course I fell in love with it and haven’t stopped since.

Do you get the opportunity to dress up much? And what’s your favorite type of clothing and why? I guess you could say I dress up every day as I am a CPA and have to see clients most days, especially during tax season.

I would prefer to wear my gym clothes all the time because it’s extremely comfortable but just can’t do that. LOL!

Share with us a bit about your contest history and most memorable show experience.

I’d have to say the most memorable show experience was at the Florida Gold Cup because I had just gotten back from a week-long vacation at Atlantis where my husband and I go every year to celebrate our anniversary.

My trainer Rich Alvarez insisted I still get on stage the next day as I looked ready to be on stage regardless of eating at the buffet all week and he was right. I took home two trophies that show which was a first for me all year and it really made for a great end to my first competition year (cont. pg. 6).
