Please share something of your background related to your interest in fitness and this shoot.

I have always had a passion for working out and improving my physique so I finally decided to take the next step in my fitness journey and compete in my first bodybuilding show at the Dexter Jackson Classic. I have always wanted to have a professional photo shoot done as well so considering this is the best shape I have ever been in, a photo shoot was a must.

Share with us a bit about your contest history and most memorable show experience.

This being my show first I do lack experience in this department, but over the years of attending other shows watching family and friends compete and observing what they sacrificed to be able to go on stage it only motivated me to be like them.

What motivates and or inspires you to workout, diet and compete in fitness? Which part do you have the most difficulty with?

The motivation for me to workout, diet and compete is simply me wanting to better myself not just my body but my mind as well. I have helped people achieve their fitness goals with all the knowledge I have obtained and that is more satisfying than anything else, to have people come to you and thank you for making them happier and healthier is the most awarding feeling you can receive. The difficult part of being in this lifestyle is just staying committed to it, and keeping a healthy balance with other aspects of my life.

What is your favorite part of being on stage and how do you feel about being in front of the camera.

I've yet to experience that feeling but It's something I look forward to, all those long nights of training and morning cardio sessions just to go on stage for 2 minutes will make it all worth it I believe.

What is the most difficult hurdle you see as having overcome that helped you gain focus with fitness and otherwise?

Growing up in a rather unhealthy house hold for the most part seeing first hand what that life style can do, it drove me in the complete other direction. I just wanted to be different luckily I fell in love with fitness and living a better healthier life for myself while inspiring others at the same time to do the same (cont. pg. 8).
