Amanda Quinlan
From her cheerleading days she has been nicknamed Quobabe. Amanda is not new to the bodybuilding, fitness, figure competitive scene and as a professional personal trainer her physique is her calling card for clients and a testimony to living what she preaches.
As a devoit Christian Quinlan pursues her own course of professional development and has a philosophy that's inwardly focused on the positives of clean eating, regular exercise and surrounding herself with people of like mind. Why isn't she a pro? Well it isn't as if she hasn't tried. She's been nationally qualified over many years and knocked on the IFBB pro door many times, but in un-authorized biographic form its fair to say she competes primarily to challenge herself to be her best amongst the best, which is the end game not "status" as it were.
The cover show here was a test market teaser on my facebook page that didn't go over very well. Interestingly, I find that the more clothes the competitor wears the better. It isn't as if Amanda Quinlan doesn't have a smoking body, but my instinct based upon the light positive response suggested I needed to run with the form fitted dress she brought for the shoot. This is another reason I encourage photoshoot clients to bring three changes for our one hour shoots; One dressy casual, one sporty & one bikini, board shorts or guys, etc. Its amazing how my eye and style of shooting lends itself to the best response it seems of athletes with a bit more clothes on. I've long believed appeal can be derived with more clothes and often is more lasting appeal than with less clothing.
Seems like an oxymoron or maybe gets to the point of where people hold their greatest charm.
